To quote anyone who has seen my dress, "This is the most beautiful wedding dress I've ever seen!" And I couldn't agree more!
The story: 3 months after my wedding dress search began, I visited Ines Di Santo's flagship store in Toronto and saw 'Elisavet'. As soon as I laid eyes on this gown, I immediately knew it was the one! It has the most figure-flattering silhouette that I'd ever tried on, and I'd tried on 100+ designer dresses! The dress is elegant, yet subtly sexy at the same time.
I felt absolutely perfect on the day and loved how it hugged my curves in all the right places. And it was so light and comfortable... I didn't want to take it off! I'm still receiving so many compliments on it.
From the couture Fall/Winter 2014 collection. I purchased this gown at the Flagship store in Toronto, and the gown is now available at Kleinfeld. I was the 3rd girl in Toronto to purchase this dress, making it truly so special and very exclusive.
Dress details: This timeless Art Deco inspired gown with sweetheart neckline and cameo pink silk organza underlay features symmetrically positioned ivory Guipure lace appliqués on silk French net throughout the bodice and along the hemline. Incredible lace and tulle placement on lower back. The dress is a very subtle blush called Cameo Pink and has a 100% silk lining. It didn't have the typical scratchy, heavy and constricting feeling that so many gowns I tried on did. The dress is light, airy, and comfortable. The material feels like a dream against your skin. I am a C cup and didn't wear a bra, and the dress held my girls up beautifully! If you have a smaller chest, you could have cups sewn in or wear a Nu-Bra, since it is backless.

I also had a custom made cathedral length tulle veil with two layers - one cathedral length, one blusher length, so that when you walk down the aisle you can choose to have the blusher over your face. It is truly the most flattering veil I had on...and I tried on lots! The hair comb is hand-detailed with freshwater pearls. I wore this for my ceremony and removed immediately for the reception. It is in perfect condition. I paid $1050 and am willing to work out a package price.
I was considering holding on to this dress & veil for my daughter someday, but my closet is not big enough! I hope another bride will be able to enjoy this dress as much as I did.
